1. Acceptance and scope
These Terms govern use of the dressup application and website (the “Service”). By creating an account, purchasing a subscription or using the Service, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy.
If you do not agree, do not use the Service. If you use dressup for an organization, you represent that you have authority to bind it to these Terms.
2. Account and eligibility
You must be at least 13 and legally able to accept these Terms. If you are a minor where you live, you need authorization from your legal guardian.
You are responsible for the information you provide, keeping your credentials confidential and activity under your account. Tell us if you discover unauthorized access.
3. Subscription and payments
dressup offers weekly, monthly or annual automatically renewing subscriptions. Current duration, price, currency and benefits are shown before you confirm a purchase.
Apple or Google process charges. Unless you cancel before the renewal date, the platform may renew and charge the next period under its terms. Manage or cancel the subscription from the store account used for purchase.
Refunds follow Apple or Google policies and applicable law. Deleting your account or the app does not automatically cancel an active subscription.
4. The Service and its suggestions
dressup lets you digitize a wardrobe, organize clothes, save outfits, use a calendar, record looks and receive ideas based on your clothes, profile, weather and occasion.
Combinations, tags and responses are creative aids and may contain errors. We do not guarantee fit, sizing, availability, cultural suitability or appropriateness for a specific occasion. Use your own judgment.
We may modify, improve or retire features while respecting mandatory consumer rights and subscriptions already purchased.
5. Your content
You retain rights to photos, text, garments, outfits and other content you upload. You grant us a limited, worldwide and revocable license to host, copy, transform and process that content only as needed to provide, protect and improve the Service.
You represent that you have the rights and permissions needed to upload the content and that it does not violate third-party rights or law. You can delete content in the app and delete your account as described in the Privacy Policy.
6. Stylists and third-party services
The directory may display independent stylists and their contact details. Unless expressly stated otherwise, dressup is not a party to agreements, payments or services you arrange directly with them.
Stylists are responsible for their profiles, recommendations and services. We verify certain profiles to organize the directory, but this is not a professional or results guarantee.
7. Acceptable use
You may not use the Service to:
- Upload illegal, abusive, deceptive content or content that infringes third-party rights.
- Harass, impersonate, try to access another account or collect data without authorization.
- Interfere with Service security, operation or technical limits.
- Scrape data, automate unauthorized access, reverse engineer where the law allows this restriction, or bypass subscription controls.
- Develop or train a competing product using the Service without written permission.
8. Intellectual property
dressup, its brand, design, software, copy and proprietary resources belong to their respective owners and are protected by applicable laws. We grant you a personal, limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable and revocable right to use the Service under these Terms.
9. Platforms and external links
The Service relies on app stores, weather, authentication, subscription, infrastructure and other providers. Their own terms and policies may apply. We do not control linked external websites or services.
10. Availability, warranties and liability
We work to provide a secure and useful Service, but do not guarantee uninterrupted availability or a complete absence of errors. To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Service is provided “as is” and “as available”.
Nothing in these Terms limits non-waivable consumer rights or liability that cannot legally be excluded. In other cases, dressup is not responsible for indirect damage, lost opportunities or data loss caused by events outside its reasonable control. Any limitation applies only as far as the law allows.
11. Responsibility for your use
You are responsible for your use of the Service and your content. To the extent permitted by law, you will indemnify dressup against third-party claims arising from your breach of these Terms or another person's rights.
12. Suspension and termination
We may suspend or close accounts that breach these Terms, create risk for others or compromise the Service. Where reasonable, we will provide notice and an opportunity to correct the issue.
You may stop using dressup and delete your account at any time from Settings. Clauses that should survive by their nature — including intellectual property, liability and dispute resolution — remain in effect.
13. Changes, applicable law and disputes
We may update these Terms. If a change is material, we will provide reasonable notice before it takes effect. Continued use means acceptance of the updated version.
The laws applicable to the Service operator's place of establishment and the mandatory consumer protections where you live apply. Before bringing a formal claim, please contact us so we can try to resolve it in good faith.
